How Pilzi works

Pilzi turns small pieces of knowledge into capsules you open, keep and pass on. This page explains what is live in this build, what is planned, and where every number on the site comes from.

What is live today

  • Capsule Discovery: nine house capsules about Solana, a capsule of the day picked from the UTC date, an opening animation and card-by-card reading.
  • Creator Lab: a capsule editor with eight themes, six shells and up to 6 cards, a live preview, share links and Gallery publishing.
  • Gallery: capsules published with a wallet signature, your saved collection and your own published list.
  • Live Solana data across the site: SOL price, slot, transactions per second and epoch progress.

Card types

A capsule holds one to 6 cards of 5 kinds: Fact, Note, Illustration, Puzzle, Live number. Text is plain: links, wallet or token addresses and anything about seed phrases, airdrops or giveaways are refused, so a capsule cannot be used to send people somewhere unsafe. Illustrations come from the site's own pixel set; nothing is uploaded.

Share links

A capsule is compact JSON encoded into the part of the link after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so a shared capsule is never stored by Pilzi. Anyone with the link sees the same capsule, puzzle answers included, so puzzles are for fun and never for prizes.

Publishing to the Gallery

Publishing asks your wallet to sign a readable message that names this site, the action, your wallet, a hash of the exact capsule and a one-time code. The server rebuilds that message, checks the signature and stores the capsule with your address. It is not a transaction and costs nothing. A wallet needs a small SOL balance before it can sign writes, which keeps throwaway wallets out. Each wallet keeps a limited number of capsules, every write is rate-limited, and a capsule leaves the list once 3 different wallets report it.

Collections

Saved capsules, opened capsules and solved puzzles are kept in your browser's local storage only. Clearing site data clears them.

A capsule, step by step

Opening a capsule starts with the shell: two halves in the capsule's colours that slide apart. Behind them sits the first card. The step bar under the title shows how many cards remain, and Back and Next move one card at a time, so you always know how long the read will take. A house capsule usually starts with an illustration, follows with two facts, asks one question and ends with a live number that ties the idea to the chain as it runs today.

When you answer a puzzle, the check happens on your device. A wrong pick turns red and you can try again; the right one turns green and is remembered as solved in this browser. Discover keeps a small tally of how many house capsules you opened and how many puzzles you solved, and the reset link clears it.

Writing a good capsule

The best capsules teach one thing. Pick a single idea, give it a short title, and say it in your own words in two or three sentences. If a fact needs a source, name the source in the text instead of pasting a link; links are refused on purpose so that a capsule can never become a trap that sends people to a fake site.

  • Start with a picture card. It sets the mood and tells the reader what the capsule is about before any text.
  • Keep facts short. A card that needs scrolling is usually two cards.
  • End with a puzzle or a live number. A question makes people think about what they just read; a live number shows the idea at work right now.
  • Use a note for your own voice: why you made the capsule, or what you want readers to try next.
  • Choose a theme with enough contrast for the text. Paper and Night are the easiest to read; Mint works well for short notes.

Remixing

Every capsule has a Remix button that opens it in the Creator Lab as a starting point. A remix of a Gallery capsule remembers where it came from and shows its generation, so the original creator stays visible. Remixing a capsule does not change the original.

Safety rules for capsules

The same checks run in the Creator Lab and on the server, so a crafted request cannot skip them. Every text field is cleaned of control characters and cut to a fixed length. Text that looks like markup or code, a link, a web address, a wallet address or a token address is refused. So are mentions of seed phrases, private keys, airdrops and giveaways, the words scammers lean on most. Illustrations are picked from the site's own set by number, so nobody can load an outside image into a capsule.

In the Gallery, any wallet can report a capsule once per version with a reason. When enough different wallets report it, the capsule leaves the public list and its content is no longer served to visitors; its owner can still see it after a signed read. Site moderators, if the owner configures them, can hide or restore a capsule.

For $PILZI holders

$PILZI is an SPL token on Solana and the community token of this project. The site shows its contract address in one place, the Token page, and the address in the top bar and footer comes from the same source. Before launch every copy button says At launch and stays disabled. After launch, the Token page reads the supply, decimals, mint authority and freeze authority straight from the mint account, so you can check for yourself whether more tokens can ever be created or whether accounts can be frozen.

Holding $PILZI unlocks nothing in this build. Any future use will be announced on this page first, labelled with what it does and what it does not do. If someone offers you rewards, early access or a special price in exchange for sending tokens, it is not us.

Where the numbers come from

SOL price: OKX, with CoinGecko as a fallback. Slot, block height, epoch and throughput: public Solana RPC (getEpochInfo and getRecentPerformanceSamples), cached on the server for up to 20 seconds and refreshed in the page every 30 seconds. Once $PILZI is live, its supply and authorities are read from the mint account, and market numbers from public DEX data.

Planned, not live

  • Capsule Drops scheduled by creators, creator profiles and community activity.
  • Optional on-chain collectibles for capsules.
  • $PILZI utility ideas: premium templates, extra publishing room and capsule customisation. The mechanism is not decided.

Questions

What is Pilzi?

Pilzi is a capsule discovery platform on Solana. A capsule is a short stack of cards (facts, pixel illustrations, puzzles, live chain numbers and notes) that you open in the browser. You can read the house capsules, build your own in the Creator Lab and share it by link, or publish it to the Gallery with a wallet signature.

How does Pilzi work?

A capsule is plain data packed into a link. Opening it runs entirely in your browser: puzzles are checked locally and live cards read public Solana data through this site. Publishing to the Gallery stores the capsule on this site's record store, tied to the wallet that signed it. There is no smart contract or Solana program of ours.

How do I buy $PILZI?

$PILZI launches on pump.fun. Use a Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, fund it with SOL, and only buy the mint shown on the Token page of this site. Until launch, that page says the address is coming soon; any address you see elsewhere before then is not ours.

Which network is Pilzi on?

Solana mainnet. $PILZI is an SPL token, wallets connect through the standard Solana wallet adapter, and every live number on the site is read from public Solana RPC.

Do I need a wallet or the token to use it?

No. Opening capsules, solving puzzles, saving a collection and building capsules in the Creator Lab need nothing at all. A wallet is only needed to publish to the Gallery, and $PILZI is not needed for anything in this build.

What will $PILZI be used for?

Ideas under discussion are premium capsule templates, extra publishing room for creators and more capsule styling. None of these exist yet and the mechanism is not decided, so the site labels them as planned. $PILZI carries no promise of value, rewards or returns.

What are the risks?

Meme and community tokens are volatile and can lose most or all of their value. Capsules in the Gallery are written by their creators, not by the Pilzi team, and a signature only proves which wallet published them. The code has not been independently reviewed yet. Never share a seed phrase; this site will never ask for one.

Are capsules NFTs?

No. A capsule is a link or a record on this site. It is not minted, not tradable and has no on-chain ownership. Optional on-chain collectibles are a planned idea, not part of this build.
